Kashmir Itinerary - Sample

Morning upon arrival at Srinagar airport pickup and proceed for Pahalgam. Upon arrival if gets time than proceed for Aru, Betab Valley & Chandanwari tour or else free at leisure to soak in the healthy & pristine atmosphere of Pahalgam and do the Aru, Betab Valley & Chandanwari tour next day after breakfast. 

Overnight Stay at Pahalgam 

Enjoy the scenic drive through lush meadows, mountain streams, and panoramic viewpoints. Spend time exploring the picturesque landscapes of Aru Valley, the movie-famous Betaab Valley, and the serene Chandanwari, known as the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. After completing the tour, you will return to Srinagar and proceed straight to your Houseboat on Dal Lake.

Check in and relax as you experience the charm of traditional Kashmiri hospitality. Later, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, gliding through calm waters, floating gardens, and local markets while soaking in the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Full day trip to Gulmarg - one of the most beautiful summer/winter resorts in the valley, one can have a gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (own expense) to have real view of the natural beauty in summer and full snow view in winter. You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen till June, in the evening, return to Srinagar En-route Tangmarg for its fast-flowing stream.

Full day tour of Sonamarg (meadows of gold), It has sheer scenic splendour. The very way-a metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with forests. After a breath-taking journey from Srinagar you come across Sindh meanders that are abounded with trout & Mahseer. Onwards the valley opens up to a meadow. Ponies can be hired for a trip up to Thajiwas glacier-a major attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg’s importance lies in the fact that it is the last halt on the Kashmir side for the drive from Srinagar to Leh. You will be fascinated to see snowy mountains against a cerulean sky against its backdrop. Transfer back to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.

Today being the last day at Srinagar, you can do a bit of shopping on the nearby shopping areas and then you will be dropped at Srinagar airport for your journey back to Kochi.
